Puppet theatre Wortel is a professional travelling puppet theatre performing impressionable stories with poetic images and few words for children aged 3 to 10.
We have been playing in many schools and cultural centres in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia since 1991. During the past few years, the troupe has often been making co-productions with several German puppet theatres.
The founder and driving force is Geert Van Doorselaere.
